Zimbabwean Kante Makes Luton Town Fans Go Wild On Social Media
Marvelous Nakamba, one of Aston Villa’s seven players on loan in the Championship, has been impressing everyone at Luton Town.
He wasn’t given any chances to play for Villa from August to January, so he decided to join Luton to get some playing time.
Since then, he has become an important player for the team. He has played in Luton’s last three games, including their 1-0 victory over Birmingham City at St Andrew’s. He also helped anchor the midfield in their 1-0 home win against Swansea last week.
Luton fans have been singing Nakamba’s praises on social media. One fan tweeted, “You’re definitely in my top two Marvs to play for Luton! Well done to our Zimbabwean Kante.”
Another fan expressed their hope that Nakamba will stay with Luton next season: “You had another great game. I just hope and pray you are still a Luton player next season.” And a third fan called him “Marv the Machine!”
Luton is currently in fifth place in the Championship and has a good chance of making it to the playoffs. They have 11 games left to play, and Nakamba’s contribution will be crucial in helping the team achieve their goals.
Other Aston Villa Players On Loan
Finn Azaz, a 22-year-old footballer for Plymouth Argyle, has risen from the middle of League One to the top. Despite fracturing his ankle in October and missing 14 games, Azaz has shone in his advanced playmaker position, with seven goals and seven assists in 27 appearances this season. He is considered a top prospect for the future.
Louie Barry, a 19-year-old player from Sutton Coldfield, joined Salford City in January after leaving League One struggler MK Dons. Although he has played in every game since his move, starting the last three, he has yet to score a goal. Salford City is currently fighting for a place in the playoffs.
Caleb Chukwuemeka, a 21-year-old striker for Crawley Town, has not played since January 2 and has missed the team’s last eight games (W1 D1 L6). Chukwuemeka has only made four starts in League Two this season and will be out of contract with Aston Villa this summer.
Filip Marschall, a 19-year-old goalkeeper, returned to Gateshead in January after a successful stint in the North East last season. Despite his young age, Marschall is Gateshead’s first-choice goalkeeper, having made eight appearances so far. Gateshead is hoping to avoid relegation from the National League.
