Chelsea manager Graham Potter has spoken out about the disturbing level of abuse directed towards himself and his family in response to the club’s recent struggles. The English coach has received threatening emails aimed at him and his children due to Chelsea’s poor run of form in recent weeks.
The Blues have only managed to win once in 2023 and have suffered defeat in 12 of their last 14 games, putting pressure on Potter from disgruntled fans. Despite this, the club has reiterated their support for their manager.
Chelsea’s latest defeat was a 1-0 loss at home to last-placed Southampton, leaving them in 10th place in the Premier League, trailing the top four by a considerable 11 points.

Despite this, Potter remains committed to his job and is determined to succeed at Chelsea. The English manager has been dealing with injuries to key players, as well as the challenge of integrating new signings into the team after a busy January transfer window. Chelsea are currently 10th in the Premier League, with their next game against Tottenham on February 26.
