Shocking News: Gunmen Threaten To Kill Lionel Messi

In the early hours of Thursday, a threatening note was directed at Lionel Messi by gunmen who had attacked a supermarket in Rosario, Argentina, the soccer star’s hometown.

Reports indicate that 14 shots were fired at the shutters and door of “Unico,” a food store owned by the family of Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, who also grew up in Rosario.

Although nobody was harmed in the attack, the store suffered significant damage. A cardboard piece was left at the scene with the message:

“Messi, we are waiting for you.”

Javkin is a drug dealer. He is not going to look after you.” Pablo Javkin is the mayor of Rosario.

Following the attack, Mayor Javkin has urged for additional resources to be dedicated to Rosario to enhance the safety and protection of its residents.

In a tweet, he stated, “Rosario is near, only 300km from Buenos Aires. We need all the resources that Argentina can provide to combat crime and safeguard this city that contributes to the country’s glory, science, countryside, art, federalism, and union.”

Messi and his wife have yet to publicly address the situation. They were in Paris when the attack occurred, and the 35-year-old footballer is currently gearing up for PSG’s Ligue 1 game against Nantes on Saturday. On Monday, Messi was named The Best FIFA Men’s Player at an awards ceremony in Paris.
