Sergio Ramos Speaks Out On Life After Football

Sergio Ramos Pamer Sixpack

Speaking in an interview with UEFA ahead of PSG‘s tie with Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Sergio Ramos let it be known that his future beyond this June is uncertain, but he‘s sure of one thing: when he hangs up his boots, he‘ll be spendin more time with his family.

The legendary Real Madrid defender‘s contract with the Parc des Princes expires this summer and it’s not clear if he’ll stay put or move on – or even if he’ll remain in Europe or go further afield.

I put in a lot of hard yards on the pitch and haven‘t had much of a chance to kick it with my fam. So when I hang up my boots I‘m gonna give it two years of my full attention, doing things like taking my kids on a holiday without care, hitting the slopes and gettingem to tennis lessons the everyday stuff.

But I know the urge to get back in the game will come calling sooner or later. Gotta stay on top of my business, but at the end of the day, it‘s only footy that gives me that buzz. I could see myself as a club prez, sporting director or coach. If I ran for the Real Madrid gig, I reckon I‘d have a fair chance of getting in.

I‘m one of the biggest legends in Spanish footy, and with all the success and variety of coaches I‘ve had, I might have a future in management.
