Saudi Pro League Side Al Tai Paid Tribute To Knowledge Musona

Club: Al-Tai

Following his departure from Al Tai at the end of the previous season, Saudi Pro League club Al Tai has paid tribute to Knowledge Musona for his contributions during his time with the team.

Musona, a Zimbabwean forward, joined Al Tai in 2021 after his stint with Belgian club Anderlecht. He spent two seasons with Al Tai and played a crucial role, even serving as captain in his final year.

During his time with the club, the 33-year-old showcased his skills both as a goalscorer and playmaker. In a total of 55 appearances, mostly in a midfield role, Musona scored fifteen goals and provided seventeen assists. His most impressive campaign came in the last season, where he netted nine goals and contributed with as many assists.

Al Tai expressed their gratitude to Musona and ten other departing players in a tweet from their official Twitter account, acknowledging their contributions to the club.

Meanwhile, Musona has already started his new journey with Al Riyadh, the newly promoted club. He joined his new teammates for the preseason training, led by coach Yannick Ferrera, who also met the team for the first time since his appointment last month.

In his debut season with Al Riyadh, Musona will wear jersey number 11, the same number he donned during his time at Al Tai.
