Nakamba Set For Luton Return On A Permanent Deal

Marvelous Nakamba is poised to make a comeback to Luton Town FC, a team bound for the English Premiership, as Aston Villa manager Unai Emery reportedly has no intentions of reintegrating the midfielder into the squad. Nakamba enjoyed a fantastic six-month loan spell at Luton Town, where he rediscovered his form after a significant period of inactivity at his parent club, Aston Villa.

During the first half of the 2022/23 English Premier League season, Nakamba did not make any appearances for Villa, which ultimately led to his loan move to Luton. The talented midfielder played a crucial role in Luton Town’s promotion to the top-tier English football league, delivering consistent performances week in and week out, garnering immense respect at the club.

Under the guidance of coach Rob Edwards, Nakamba started in 19 matches for Luton in the Championship, contributing to their journey to the promotion playoffs final. In a thrilling encounter, the Hatters emerged victorious over Coventry City, winning 6-5 on penalties and securing their place in the EPL for the upcoming season. Nakamba displayed a commendable performance and even scored the third penalty kick for Luton.

According to The Athletic, it is reported that Luton Town is keen on securing a new deal for the talented midfielder in the upcoming transfer window. However, Nakamba’s contract with Aston Villa is set to expire in June 2024, requiring the Hatters to pay a reasonable fee if they wish to secure his services on a permanent basis.

As of now, the future of the 29-year-old midfielder remains uncertain, leaving his next move a mystery.
