Khama Billiat’s Whereabouts Finally Revealed
Khama Billiat: Training Hard and Exploring Options After Departure from Kaizer Chiefs
Former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat has been diligently working on his fitness and considering offers from various soccer clubs following his departure from the Soweto giants. The 32-year-old Zimbabwean midfielder, who terminated contract negotiations with Chiefs in late June, is currently training alongside former Chiefs midfielder Cole Alexander and compatriot Evans Rusike.
While Kaizer Chiefs made a new contract offer to Billiat, he failed to respond, leading to speculations about his future with the team. He has not been seen or participated in training sessions with the club since 29 June. Reports suggest that Billiat is focusing on his fitness in Johannesburg, where he has been keeping a low profile with the support of his training partners, Cole and Rusike.
Various clubs have expressed interest in signing the talented playmaker, but Billiat is taking his time and not rushing to make a decision. However, there have been concerns about the guidance he has been receiving during this period of uncertainty. According to Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki, Billiat has been given questionable advice, which might have contributed to the prolonged silence from the player’s end.
Despite the situation, Khama Billiat remains committed to improving his fitness and carefully assessing his options before making any commitments to a new club. His fans and the soccer community eagerly await news of his future destination as he continues to maintain a private approach during this time.
