Forgotten Aston Villa Warrior Breaks Silence On Why He Chose A Loan Move To Luton Town Fc
Marvelous Nakamba has explained why he turned down offers from other football teams before deciding to join Luton Town on the last day of the January transfer window.
The midfielder was asked to leave Aston Villa because he wasn’t playing enough and moved to the Championship on a six-month loan deal. Other teams, including West Brom and some teams in the Premier League, were interested in signing him.
However, Nakamba picked Luton, which was a big deal since the team only showed interest in him at the last minute. In an interview with Luton Today, the Zimbabwean international talked about why he decided to reject the other offers and sign with the Hatters.
Nakamba wanted to play more, but he didn’t have many chances on his previous team. So, he spoke with his agent and decided to look for a new team to play for. Luckily, he found a team called Luton that he liked. He spoke with the coach and felt good about the club’s plans for the future.
Nakamba thinks the coach, Edwards, was honest with him and helped him decide to join the team. Nakamba played his first game for Luton as a substitute in a match against Stoke City.
He then started in the next game and played in another game on Wednesday.
